Humane Bird Control

Challenges in Fisheries: Traditional fisheries encounter challenges related to seabird mortality, particularly albatrosses and other seabirds. Bycatch in fisheries poses a threat to these birds, leading to thousands of fatalities annually despite efforts to minimize the impact.

Challenges in Aquaculture: The fast-growing aquaculture industry, which involves the cultivation of shellfish, crustaceans, and fish, faces challenges associated with the concentration of propagated animal life in confined spaces. This concentration makes aquaculture facilities susceptible to predation by birds.

Both industries require efficient bird control measures to address the challenges mentioned. The goal is to protect seabirds in fisheries and prevent predatory birds such as seagulls, herons, cormorants and pelicans from affecting fish farms and aquaculture facilities by using innovative technology. This targeted approach is essential for effective bird control while minimizing adverse effects on the surrounding ecosystem.

Safety is crucial to ensure that the bird control measures do not harm the birds or pose risks to the aquaculture or fisheries operations.

AVIX AUTONOMIC

Fully Autonomous, Silent & Effective

Unlike current recognised techniques to dispel birds, habituation does not occur when AVIX laser technology is applied with repetition. Birds will consider the area as unsafe, causing them to move on and avoid the area. Our automated laser systems claim a territory 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for as long as you require.
